#Tellyourstory Video Competition


Enter the World Challenge video competition for your chance to win a polar expedition with Quark Expeditions!

Entry criteria:

Video Length between 2 minutes to 3.5 minutes. We are looking for a video that captures expedition life – the highs, the lows, the good, the bad and the ugly.

The winning video will share funny moments and the tears. It will show local engagement with guides, taxi drivers, project hosts or In-Country agents. It will include interviews and soundbites. It will capture all phases of the expedition from exploring local towns/ cities and trekking across incredible landscapes and different terrains, to lying on a beach or white water rafting.

Who can enter:

Any students or teachers who have travelled on an expedition with World Challenge before May 2017.
The competition is not open to staff of World Challenge including Expedition Leaders or Expedition Assistants.

You may enter as an individual or as a group but there will only be one prize.


Two places on a polar expedition with Quark (if the winner is under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult).

If the winner is situated in the Northern hemisphere, they will go on a Quark expedition to the Arctic, and if they are situated in the Southern hemisphere, the winner will go to Antarctica.

How to submit:

  • Upload video to YouTube and send us the link via email tellyourstory@world-challenge.co.uk, or share the link with us via social media, either by private message or by using the hashtag #tellyourstory and our handle:

  • Upload video to a file-sharing website such as Dropbox or WeTransfer and send it through to tellyourstory@world-challenge.co.uk
  • Upload video to a DVD or USB device and drop it in the post, addressed to:
    World Challenge (Tell Your Story)

Unfortunately we will not be able to return USBs/DVDs submitted to us.
