Team Challenge

Life is an incredible journey...

Prepare to embark on an amazing journey of fun and self-discovery! Imagine travelling to a developing world destination and running your own expedition with like-minded people your own age! This is World Challenge!

The friendships you make will be life-long and the life skills that you will learn such as communication, teamwork, risk-management, negotiation, delegation and money management will not only aid personal growth, but can help secure university places and impress future employers.

Our expeditions include a 6-24 month build-up phase which includes fundraising support and a two-day training expedition to ensure that you are ready for the real thing!

The journey itself is broken into four sections.

  • Acclimatisation allows a few days for you to adapt

  • Trekking will see you leading a trek through jungle, desert or mountainous terrain

  • Community Project provides the opportunity to mix with locals and give something beneficial back

  • Rest & Recreation allows for time to relax, go sightseeing or undertake an activity such as white water rafting

By travelling to the other side of the world, spending time volunteering in a developing community and trekking through challenging terrain, World Challenge believes that you will come back with a different perspective on life as you know it.

How can you get on board?

If you are considering a World Challenge expedition, adventure is on the horizon for you and your excitement is soon to become an everyday emotion! The best way to get involved is to call World Challenge for an information pack or click here to download a Team Challenge brochure.

Information your parent or guardian will need about World Challenge expeditions...

  • Show your parent or guardian what it's all about by directing them to this website
  • They can read what others say in the Reviews on our Destination pages
  • Don’t just take our word for it; there are videos from ex-Challengers on YouTube, photos on Flickr and lots of comments on our Facebook page too

Are any of your friends interested in an expedition?

See if any of your friends might also be interested. Why not set up a Facebook group of your own campaigning to get an expedition set up and ask others to join.
