Our Challengers are often too excited at the prospect of their adventure to be troubled with logistics, however, it’s only natural for parents to have some questions. We understand the kinds of concerns you may have about your child embarking on their trip and we want to provide you with all the information you need to put your mind at rest. Oh and by the way we unfortunately don’t run expeditions for parents!

Online support
Students, parents and teachers all have access to their personal web portal ‘My World Challenge’ featuring constantly updated information relating to the expedition.
Fundraising Support Team
The Fundraising Support Team provide advice and support throughout the program to assist with raising money to fund the expedition. This avoids challengers relying on parents’ pockets! Fundraising support includes setting realistic goals and information as to how they can save the money they earn!

Safety is our number one priority...
World Challenge operate the most comprehensive safety and back up procedures in the industry. This is supported by a 24-hour manned Operations Centre staffed with specialists to coordinate incidents of all scales. Thorough risk assessments are carried out prior to expedition by our Planning Manager.
Travel warnings issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade are monitored very closely and we retain the ability to divert expeditions to alternative destinations up until the time of departure.
