What people say about World Challenge - Central America

>>This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, filled to the brim with experience and fun.  I have discovered things about myself and have made life-long friends.  I would not exchange this opportunity for anything in the world.<< Alex Richardson, Challenger - Kambala, NSW Costa Rica 2007

>>This was always going to be a once-in-a-life-time opportunity, but it turned out to be so much more. I learnt more about friendship, commitment, dedication, hardwork and other cultures than I have in 9 years of school!  There are actually no words to describ this trip - just amazed silence and silent remembering.<< Simone Proctor, Challenger - Kambala, NSW Costa Rica 2007

>> The experience has shown me that there is more to life – a whole other world waiting to be seen. Having the back-up of World Challenge was just a bonus.  It has inspired me to travel more and now I know I can do it without my parents.

I’ve definitely grown up enormously, and I’m proud of my whole group and how we’ve all grown as people. <<

Beejal Sonigra, Challenger - Heathfield School, Costa Rica 2005

>> To be honest, I originally signed up for World Challenge for the sole benefit of my CV.

I had thought it would be more of a fun adventure, but over the whole month I was faced with so many physical and mental challenges I had never anticipated.  I can’t even begin to describe how appreciative I am of the expedition as it has helped me find my feet, develop important skills and grow in so many ways.  It was undoubtedly a struggle, but I pulled through.  I have a true sense of achievement which I never could envisage at the start.

THANK YOU. <<

Eleanor Morse, Challenger - St Mary's School, Honduras 2005

>> I honestly didn’t expect this trip to be such a turning point in my life. <<

Katherine Oakes, Challenger - Ellon Academy, Maya Route 2006
