Vietnam expedition reviews

VIETNAM REVIEWS

World Challenge is not something you can describe in one word let alone 100. It's the most amazing experience any 15 - 16 year old can have. It's stepping out of your comfort zone and saying yes to things others only dream of. This experience will never be forgotten and something I'll stand up and be proud of. It's indescribable!

Ashleigh Judd, Challenger, Mt St Joseph Girls' College

Berwick Secondary College's first World Challenge team was fantastic. It taught all of us how to be team players and how to lead confidently. The skills and experiences we have come across will stay with us for life. I believe that the school will continue to do the World Challenge program and promote it to all students at some stage. It is a great experience that I will never forget.

Melissa Pike, Challenger, Berwick Secondary College

I think that this trip was the greatest thing I have ever done and I think World Challenge did a terrific job and pick of a leader. Adam was amazing! The entire experience is life-changing - PHENOMENAL!!! I wanted an adventure I could keep in my heart for a while. But I got so much more. I'm friends with amazing people, I lived among a remote village, I helped the community! You cannot predict how this experience will change your life and certainly can't predict how a group will create the greatest memories! The ones I know I will treasure forever. It is so much more than a trip, it's an ongoing life lesson.

Rebecca Jacobs, Challenger, Tintern

The expedition challenged each student in a variety of ways. Whether through physical challenges of trekking or dealing with group dynamics and language barriers - students have all gained a greater understanding of themselves and the diverse world in which they live.

Sam Watson, School Leader, Karingal Park Secondary College

World Challenge rocks my socks off majorly!!! Fair to say this trip was like nothing else.

Bonnie Nelson, Challenger, Aberfoyle Park High School

Awesome opportunity to experience the scope of the culture. It has enabled the students to embrace leadership roles and responsibility….absolutely brilliant!

VIETNAM & CAMBODIA REVIEWS

I thought that overall it was the best experience I've had. After the challenge and project phase I felt very accomplished and proud of myself. It's opened my eyes to a different reality.

Madeline Carne, Challenger, Canberra High School

This was an awesome experience to go overseas for the first time with a big group. It has built confidence in myself to voice my opinion more often, I didn't want to leave because it was great!

Lisa Feng, Challenger, Box Hill Senior Secondary College

World Challenge as been a truly rewarding experience which has taught me any things about culture, third world countries and how many people live. The expedition gave me the chance and confidence to lead a group and have an important say. It has taught me any things which I will proudly take on with me and utilise in the future.

Ellie Watson, Challenger, Box Hill Senior Secondary College

I had a once in a lifetime opportunity and wouldn't change a thing. The knowledge I acquired is timeless and valuable to my future travel and life in general.

Harry Pout, Challenger, Melbourne High School

We were all challenged in different ways. Students accepted responsibility and developed a greater awareness of different cultures and personalities. This was an invaluable experience.

Mihaela Brysha, School Leader, Melbourne High School
