The World Challenge program is of particular value to building on and sustaining students' understanding of and value of cultures other than their own. It offers them an opportunity to develop skills in communication, inter group interaction, leadership skills and mediation among many others. The World Challenge experience was exceptional in all facets. I believe my students and myself have benefited whole-heartedly from the challenges of the project and expedition phases and the variety of cultural and personal experiences that these phases offered. I am positive that this trip will leave an ongoing legacy through the memories and actions of our students at Kambala.
