CAMBODIA & LAOS ITINERARY

Acclimatisation
Teams will have the option of acclimatising in either Cambodia or Laos. In Cambodia teams can trek on the fringes of the remote Ratanakiri National Park, whilst in Laos lucky teams may catch a glimpse of wild elephants in Phou Khao Khuay National Park.

Trekking
Main treks can take place in a remote northeastern jungle region of Cambodia or in southern Laos. In Laos the Bolaven Plateau is one option where teams can explore cascading waterfalls, verdant green jungles and lush forests. It is one of the principal growing regions for Lao coffee, as well as being home to a number of minority tribes.

Project
Teams have the rewarding opportunity to experience a different culture through community development schemes, and working in orphanages and schools in Cambodia - one of the world's poorest countries.

R&R
Cambodia and Laos offer abundant R&R options including exploring the 'Tomb Raider Temple' at Ta Prohm in Angkor, relaxing in Si Phan Don in Laos, or perhaps even making it south to discover Cambodia's beautiful coastline.

Project
Teams working in Laos will have the chance to embed themselves in rural Lao communities and undertake genuine infrastructure improvement work. Past projects have included the construction of a primary school classroom, and preparatory work to connect electricity to a secondary school so they are no longer dependant on natural light to work.

R&R
Teams will have the opportunity to visit ancient temples, jungle-clad waterfalls and exotic night markets in Laos and may also be able to travel south to islands such as Ko Chang or Ko Samet. Once there, teams could book themselves into a hostel, a beach hut, or even just arrange to sling their hammocks under the stars!
