Venezuela expedition overview
Venezuela is situated on the northern coast of South America. It shares borders with Guyana to the east, Brazil to the south and Colombia to the west, with the length of its coastline warmed by the Caribbean Sea. From high mountains to savannah grasslands and jungles, Venezuela offers great diversity and adventure.
Venezuela boasts several distinctly different climatic and geographical zones, the largest being the Gran Sabana in the east. This mixture of savannah grassland and jungle covered 'tepuis' (table top mountains) offers demanding and exhilarating trekking in spectacular surroundings. In contrast, in the Sierra Nevada region to the west, the Venezuelan Highlands form an extension of the Andes where teams can trek high into cloud forests, revealing hidden lakes.
Venezuela is a demanding destination for a team looking for a challenging environment. Through demanding treks and projects, they will experience a diverse and outstanding country on an expedition that will test their strengths and provide them with exceptional reward.
