Argentina expedition sample itinerary

Acclimatisation
Teams may choose to integrate their acclimatisation into an extended trekking phase in the Andes or head to the lower lying valleys in the Cordoba region.
Trekking
Teams can head North West on a range of extended 7-10 day treks experiencing in the humidity of the Yungas forest, the high altitudes of the Andes mountains and the culture of rural villages. Alternatively the Chani circuit offers teams a tough, high altitude route with views of the magnificent Chani range. Some teams may also have the opportunity to complete a 3-4 day river journey on the Rio Paraguay.
Project
The project offers teams a real opportunity to immerse themselves in rural Argentinean cultures. Projects may include renovating village buildings and transforming local schools or involvement with agriculture building chicken coops and designing vegetable plots.
R&R
The vibrancy of Buenos Aires is always on offer with teams learning tango, visiting the local markets and sampling some of the famous Argentine steakhouses. The awesome Iguazu Falls nestled on the northern border with Brazil can be explored by boat or from the viewing deck and the surrounding National Park offers a variety of trail walks through dense forest. Salta is also a popular rest and relaxation city with its colonial plazas and extreme sports side by side - white water rafting and a high canopy zip wiring course!
