South Africa expedition reviews

It's amazing how much you can take home from an expedition if you embrace the experience, immerse yourself in the new culture and be open to the new people you will meet. My month in South Africa has become one of the highlights of my month. I impressed myself when I realised what a difference I could make to a small town when we were involved in our project phase, and the amount of fresh life a small group can breathe into a community. I felt that I was leaving something behind that I could always come back to, bringing with me new friends and a new, inspired outlook on my own life.

I really enjoyed the fact that we were independent and we did it all ourselves. I have become more confident than I was, and am grateful for it. The project phase was amazing. It was so nice that we were helping the community with our hands instead of just donating money, and the happiness that they expressed when it was finished brought a tear to my eye. Thank you World Challenge, it was the best experience ever!

The World Challenge expedition was the most amazing thing I have ever done. The expedition opens your eyes and mind to the fact that life is beyond a classroom and beyond our homes. This trip has made me so grateful and aware of the fact the greatest things cannot be bought or owned but be given and experienced.
