"World Challenge is responsible for pioneering the concept of exciting school expeditions as a means to develop life skills in students. I was immediately taken by World Challenge's sense of enthusiasm and expertise and the opportunity on offer for my students was too good to miss."

"The World Challenge experience offered an opportunity for the students to engage and participate in a truly life changing journey of global proportions while learning and growing as individuals. As we trekked, toured and explored Vietnam, I personally witnessed and gained insight into the capacities of students and their maturity."

"The opportunity for students to lead their peers, make decisions and experience life outside their comfort zone is priceless. The expedition allowed for a lot of flexibility and the opportunity to interact with locals was highly beneficial to student confidence. I can say that this has been the most valuable experience for all involved and I can't recommend World Challenge and our Expedition Leader highly enough."

"It was so fulfilling to see the way the students embraced the nature of this expedition. I felt so proud of the way they worked together as a cohesive team and the development they displayed both individually and as part of that team. The expedition has certainly equipped them with many valuable life skills that they will be able to apply in all their future endeavours."

Diary entry from the team, Day Nine:
"I am sitting on a rock writing this and looking out on this beautiful valley, with the mountains surrounding me. The trek today was hard, but we got to the top of a peak today - standing on the top is the best feeling! It was worth it and it is crazy - you look across at the snow-capped mountains. I hope I'm getting fitter and able to deal with altitude better now. I really believe I am growing and learning so much, and I want to treasure all the days we have left! The feeling up here is amazing, the sun's shining, the wind's blowing and you feel on top of the world!"

"I wanted an adventure I could keep in my heart for a while, but it was everything I expected and more. I created friendships with amazing people, I was given the chance to live within a remote village and most importantly I helped the community by putting smiles on the children's faces. You cannot predict how this
experience will change your life."

"As a teacher, this is one of the best learning experiences I have been party to. I have never been so proud
of a group of kids. The program has challenged the students to their best! The World Challenge ethos of Challenge, Participation, Environment really came to life on the trip – each of the students understood the relevance. Watching a group of nervous, needy students turn into independent, efficient thoughtful young people is something I wish everyone had the opportunity to witness. This is a time that no one on the expedition will forget."

"The expedition can only be summed up by the word 'rollercoaster' - there are ups, downs and loops. It goes so quickly and by the end you are screaming, let's go again!"

"World Challenge is not something you can describe in one word let alone 100. It's the most amazing experience any 15-16 year old can have. It's stepping out of your comfort zone and saying 'yes' to things others only dream of. This experience will never be forgotten and something I'll stand up and be proud of. It's indescribable."
